Mark Willson, Director of H Tiddy Independent Estate Agents based in St Mawes is proud to announce that 2016 was one of H Tiddy’s best trading years in the long established history of the company dating back over 100 years.
H Tiddy sold nearly 30 million pounds worth of property, covering their specialist areas from Mylor to Mevagissey, including The Roseland Peninsula, St Mawes, The Cornish Riviera and the tributary rivers and creeks on The Carrick Roads.
Natalie Andrew, Administration Manager and Senior Sales Negotiator at H Tiddy, said “We are all delighted with what we have achieved in the last year. We work very hard and pride ourselves on our old fashioned approach for a professional and honest estate agency, where our local knowledge and friendly service is appreciated by both sellers and buyers.”
Pictured is an aerial photograph of St Mawes. The red arrows highlight the properties that H Tiddy exchanged and completed on in 2016 within the village alone. This amounts to over £18 million worth of property. H Tiddy also sold nearly £2 million worth of property in the Gorran Haven, St Austell and Mevagissey areas, circa £4 million in Portscatho and its surrounding areas, nearly £2 million in the Penpol and Feock areas as well as around £4 million on The Roseland Peninsula.
Mark Willson added, “We had a quieter trading period for 2 to 3 months leading up to last years referendum, but, within a couple of weeks after Brexit, we went through a surge of activity and sales. This is still the case, since we have started 2017 exceptionally well.”
Jack Hunkin, Sales Negotiator and Valuer at H Tiddy said: “There is usually a limited supply of property that comes to the open market at any one time in our area. This helps maintain house price stability. With the uncertainties and roller coaster ride in the stock markets and with interest rates remaining low for the foreseeable future, many buyers feel that bricks and mortar is a safer investment as well as providing enjoyment and a quality of life, living or holidaying in our beautiful county”.
The team at H Tiddy are keen to talk to anyone in their area who is considering selling. They have reported that demand is literally outstripping supply and they are in urgent need of properties to sell in all price ranges.” They offer free, no obligation valuations. The sales team can be contacted by visiting their office, via their web site (www.htiddy.co.uk), by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by telephone (01326 270212).
